Colette (Holyhead)
I find reading a great escape and I love getting stuck into a book. I’d love to join a book club to talk through and discuss our opinions of different books and to have other book recommendations. It would be nice to be part of a likeminded community. Fiction wise I enjoy reading thriller, horror or murder mystery, however I’m open to trying other genres. I also enjoy to read non-fiction books about psychology, biology, evolution and some bits of physics, but again I’m open to trying other types.

Caroline (Caernarfon)
Hi, I have always read books throughout my life but find I need the stimulation to read through membership of a bookclub. There is so much to distract one from reading these days with social media, the Internet etc. By the way Caernarfon is not spelled "Caernarvon"! Caroline

I am moving to Anglesey at the end of this month and looking to find a book club to join. I am currently member of a fabulous book club in Shrewsbury I enjoy many genres, but my preferences are generally, historical fiction and thrillers. Some of my favourite reads are: FIngersmith by Sarah Waters, All of the ken Follett trilogies, All the light we cannot see Anthony Doerr, Hamnet Maggie O'Farrell I hope to meet people with a similar love for reading to discuss different elements in the book and to support a dying reading culture
