GRINDLEFORD bOOKWORMS and GRINDLEFORD BOOK GROUP TOO

Meets at Leader's Home on Run by Kay Beeston Library service There are two groups in Grindleford, The first one meets on the second Wednesday of the month and the scond on the first Tuesday. We have been in existence for seven and four years repectively and consist of ten women and one man in one group and eight women and one man in the other. We read mostly fiction but there is the occasional non fiction choice. We get our books via the Bakewell Library service and they are chosen from a list which represents the choices of the readers. We have joined in the Hope Valley groups activities and next year will be hosting the "Orange Evening" We meet at: Wayfarers Maynard Road, Grindleford hope valley, Derbyshire, S32 2JD Accepting new members

Somercotes Reading Group

Meets at Somercotes Library Run by Somercotes Library Library service We have 6 members who meet on the first Friday of each month at 2-3pm. We enjoy a drink and a biscuit while chatting. We would like a few men to join us! We read widely - from historical fiction, through classics to the latest Booker prize winner; we do read biographies and other non-fiction too from time-to-time. Books are all supplied through the library so there is no need to purchase books or pay reservation / overdue fees. We meet at: Bank Street, Somercotes, Alfreton, Derbyshire, DE55 4JE Accepting new members
