Hello. I am a retired support officer for older people. I am looking for a book club in Barnstaple because I love reading and would like have a more varied mix of literature in my life. It would be interesting to hear people's reactions to different books snd to be able to put forward my thoughts too.

Barnstaple Library Wednesday Reading Group

Come to Barnstaple Library on Tuly Street to join Colin Bray's library gathering. We have a relaxed atmosphere and a varied selection of books slected by the group, ranging from classic to modern. The duration of the meeting can be up to an hour and a half, depending on how engaged the members are in it.

Library Memory Group

Get together at Barnstaple Library with Kate Cooper, the Library service coordinator, for a relaxed, friendly group of people with memory loss and their carers. Listen and enjoy stories and poems read aloud. We would be more than happy to welcome you and accept new members registered at Tuly Street, Barnstaple, Devon, EX31 1EL.

Colin Bray hosts an informal gathering of members at the Barnstaple Library. A variety of books, from classic to modern, are chosen by the members and the duration of the meeting may last for about an hour or an hour and a half.
