Rachel

I'm a mid twenties girl who likes to read a variety, from cosy fantasies to classics to Greek retellings. I'd love to find a book group that reads a similar variety!

I felt immersed from the first page. I loved the author's style and ability to incorporate complex meaning with magic and a writing style that allows you to read easily and find enjoyment whether you're full of energy or tired after a week of work.

Joanne

I'm an author and a lifelong lover of books. My first novel, Dancing on Knives, is coming out in January 2025. I'd love to connect with local reading groups who might be interested in reading a Bosnian ghost story about the dark legacy of war, and the unexpected roads that lead to redemption.

I love reading fantasy, classics and I try to read non-fiction (usually social/environmental stuff). It would be great to find a book club discussing any of these genres!

I love a good book and quite enjoy dipping into most genres, dystopian and a bit of a thriller are my favourites. My favourite book of the year so far has been Wedding People and I’m currently reading Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt and listening to Year of the Locust by Terry Hayes. I’ve just moved to Somerset with my husband and our 2 young children and am looking to meet people in South Bath and the surrounding areas.

Jessica

Hello, I'm really keen to find some lovely women to start an online book club with (fantasy, sci-fi, romantasy, grimdark sort of books) - Sarah J Maas, Joe Abercrombie, Holly Black, Raven Kennedy etc. I'm thinking an online club that meets fortnightly and in person (in Bath) perhaps every quarter. If this sounds like it suits you please get in touch :-)

Phenomenal world-building that envelops you immediately. You're taken on an enthralling journey of assassins, power, kingdoms and betrayal. There are some beautiful love stories involved, but it isn't a super sexual book which I oftentimes prefer to romantasy that can be quite graphic (good every now and then!) but Throne of Glass is an entire world that you're able to explore.
