Hannah

I'm in my early 30s and trying to rekindle my love for reading - mainly fiction of all sorts! I've recently enjoyed reading Lady Audley's Secret and Evelina. I'm a Sophie Kinsella fan and also enjoy young adult and romance books. It would be nice to make female friends of a similar age who have shared interests and would enjoy meeting up for coffee & cake and sharing book recommendations :)

Abby

Hi, I’m Abby! I recently moved to the UK from another country, and I’m in my late twenties. I love reading, especially fantasy, mystery, and romance novels that keep me hooked. I’m a huge Harry Potter fan! I’m also hoping to connect with like-minded girls who love books as much as I do. I’m excited to meet new friends and share great book recommendations!

Abby recommends:

The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka
The Metamorphosis
by Franz Kafka | Buy this book
The Metamorphosis is a thought-provoking novella that explores themes of alienation, identity, and the human condition. Its surreal and symbolic narrative makes readers reflect on societal expectations and personal transformation.

I am 67 and still an avid reader, of all kinds of books, including non-fiction. Have just discovered Fitzcorraldo publishers who do translations and read a wonderful French book. But I will read anything, including science fiction, fantasy, poetry and eco stories.
