Bridgwater Women's Book Club
Hello! I'm starting a monthly book club in the Bridgwater area for women aged 25-35. We can either host it at each other's houses, or we can meet at a café. In terms of genres I'm very much open to anything - we can take it in turns to suggest a book each time we meet. The idea is that it will be fairly informal, just a good natter about a book of our choice over snacks and wine and an opportunity to make some new friends. Please do reach out if you are interested!

Hi, I'm 30 and looking for some fellow bookworms to discuss all things reading over cake and/or wine! I'm open to most genres from fantasy/romance, historical fiction, comtemporary literature, gothic, all sorts. I've recently moved here from Bristol where I did host a book club so it would be good to rekindle that here.

Recently started reading again and starting to fall back in love with it. Currently exploring different genres but always down for a good twisted romance or thriller. Very much a comfort reader and love to reread if a book was too good to not read again! I’ve been roaming charity shops recently looking to fill up my bookcase again and I’m loving the feeling of finding a good series or book in unexpected places. Yes I could go and buy the book directly, but there’s something about finding it tucked away in a charity shop that’s just so pleasing.

I have always liked reading. I was indoctrinated from birth by my dad in all matters railway, but also love reading biographies of all types of people but especially anyone connected with contemporary music. I also am interested in matters to do with climate change. I'm looking to join I book club because there are several unknown authors who I think deserve to be discovered.

Hi there! (Bridgwater based) I’m an avid reader who’s always got a book on the go! Love an easy read as long as it grips me in the first 1/3! Live for a sports romance, cowboy romance, small town romance and will dabble in a mafia romance too as long as it’s not too scary! Horror/thriller is a big no go very much a scaredy cat!! Favourite troupes are marriage of convenience or single parent vibes but will go beyond especially if they’re part of a series! Will reread if I so much as think of a scene that happened in a book I’ve read I just can’t help but want that feeling again :D Current authors on repeat are JJ Mulder, Eden Finley, Lulu Moore! Kindle Unlimited is the best £8.50 I spend every month, but I can’t help but to buy the physical copy’s too! Shopping for books followed by a coffee and a cake in a little cafe if very much my vibe <3 Need someone to chat with get recs from who get the level of excitement I experience when I reach 80% and the break up/ get back together stage is happening!

I’m 21 and I love fantasy & spice, i absolutely love the escape it gives you from the real world. My favourite book series are a court of thorns and roses & throne of glass. I’m looking to find people who are interested in similar books and hopefully make some friends! :) I’d love to find a book club which is interested in these sort of books so we can discuss them over some snacks and a cup of tea.
