Elliott

Hello I'm Elliott, 20, I used to read all the time as a kid and am getting back into it, i love talking with people about books, how they interpret them and each others thoughts about them. I would love to make new friends and read and discuss books with others!

Very eye-opening to me as a guy, I love how it makes me think twice about the world we live in and what can be done to make it better. I really like that it uses lots of studies and statistics to help grasp the importance and better your understanding.

Rhia

Im interested in finding a local book club, maybe to meet once a month. I mainly read adult romantasy/supernatural, though i also enjoy the occasional historical or contemporary romance.

Sarah

Looking to connect with local people over good books. I don’t really have a favourite genre, my taste is quite eclectic. I would like to meet monthly.

Emma

Hello! I moved to Bishop’s Waltham about 4 years ago but my children are teens so missed out on building networks through primary school. I love reading and keen to meet others locally who might like to form a group to chat and socialise. Over the past few years I’ve primarily worked my way through booker lists and women’s prize for fiction long and short lists as well as reading favourite authors. I like history based fiction - currently reading Flashlight by Susan Choi Emma

Recently picked up reading again after a few years, and looking for people to talk to about it. Anything fantasy/romantasy has me in a choke hold currently!

Love all of McEwans work but this one is probably his most expansive, covering several decades of recent British history and combining it with his usual precise, beautifully formed sentences when dealing with personal emotions.
