I like modern literary fiction and the classics. I have recently moved to Winchester from Manchester where I enjoyed being a member of the book group at the Central Library for many years. The discussions were great and I made many friends. I'd like to be a member of a group here, meeting perhaps once a month.

The Winchester Wine and Book Club is a book club based in Winchester, UK. We are a small(ish) informal and friendly group of people from different professions and of varying ages. HIP Reading Group

HIP (Hearing Impairment People) is a reading group that meets on a monthly basis at the Winchester Discovery Centre. Led by Nick Coe, the library service welcomes anyone with a hearing impairment and utilizes a portable induction loop to aid those with hearing aids. The only rule is to not guess or nod if a person hasn't heard something. New members are welcomed at the Centre located on Jewry Street in Winchester, Hampshire.
