Steph

I love reading, mostly books that I feel I can relate to, I.e life as an adult in your late 20s, romance, life choices etc. I love Laura Jane Williams and Dolly Alderton books but I’m open to other authors too! I also love reading about women in history! I’d like to be a part of a book club or just find a coffee shop we can sit in, read and share books. Let me know if you are interested.

Steph recommends:

Confessions of a Forty Something F**k up by Alexandra Potter

You will get so invested in the main character and it will make you feel a mixture of emotions.

Hey I'm T! I've loved buying books for a good few years but only this year have a really enjoyed reading properly! I love a good bookshop and I want to find some like minded readers to make some friends. I love drama, love and romance books. Normal People, Talking at night and One day are prime examples of the stories I like to read. Would love to chat and find some other readers to connect with

I like Sci-Fi (Red-Rising), Fantasy (Terry Pratchett, obviously LOTR), well-written History, and some autobiographies, but I can generally get into any book as long as it is written well!

Southampton Book Club Fantasy Girlies

Hi all, I am looking for like-minded people (not just girlies) to create a book club here in Southampton to hopefully meet face-to-face once a month. I have had a look around and can't seem to find a book club (out of maybe 4? I found) around Southampton with my taste in books. So if you also like: -Fantasy -Romance -Romantasy -Historical fiction -Adventure -A bit of contemporary or sci-fi I am hoping that we can meet at least monthly, discuss a book and share thoughts/ideas. Please feel free to join: www.facebook.com/groups/8823393134447588/

Ailsa

I read most genres I’m just not a big fan of history or self-help/essay based books. My most recent reads were the Harry Potter series and The Help, both I enjoyed immensely.

This is a great short story, focusing on one man’s stay in hell. It kept me interested throughout and I finished it in one sitting.
