My main literary passions are crime, psychological thrillers, character driven novels and social justice. I also do like to dip into the classics and a smattering of Gothic. After realising my attention span is shrinking and I spend too much time on my phone, I've started to read a lot more and I haven't looked back since! I'd love to share the experience of reading with other people and see different perspectives. I just moved to Southampton, I don't really know anyone and I think a book group would be a great start for me to meet new people. I'm interested in reading many different types of books, especially ones that move me.

I'd like to meet up with other readers reasonably locally. My passion is social justice so I appreciate any novel tackling these issues e.g. The Women by Kristin Hannah. But also love reading crime and psychological thrillers. More commercial than literary. Favourite authors Lianne Moriarty, Clare Macintosh, Robert Galbraith Strike series, Elly Griffiths Ruth Galloway series. I'm also a writer and run a writing group in Dibden Purlieu.
