Book clubs in Brigg

Starting in the austerity of post war England, it recounts the tale of Juliet Ashton, a writer, who loves reading. She buys a second hand book by Charles Lamb and connects with the previous owner. They start a correspondence, which leads to all sorts of developments, resulting in Juliet going to Guernsey and meeting aground of eccentric and loveable characters who welcome her into their circle.
