Im 26F relatively new to Lincoln as originally from Hampshire. I don’t know anyone here and would like to get involved in a book club to meet people. I’m a very passionate reader, just finished all the Eddie Flynn series by Steve Cavanagh which I highly recommend!

I am 25F, from Lincoln. I love reading books. I love talking about books. But I want to immerse in the "art" of storytelling, plays, theatre and perhaps meet someone along the way who might be interested in similar things. The last book I read was "The Vegetarian" and that opened a whole can of worms for me to explore society in South Korea. I am like that, I love to go deep into a subject and explore and talk about it. I am a slow reader (working on it) and I am here trying to find a book friend whom I can meet with for a coffee or a glass of wine- go to waterstones- sit somewhere and read a book together...

I’m interested in joining so it will nicely force me to read and open my horizons to new books that I properly wont think to read. I know the worlds of books is a fascinating place to be but being dyslexic I use it as an excuse to put it at the bottom.

Reading took a bit of a back seat when children, bills, jobs etc took over, but been back to it for a couple of years now! I'm happy to read just about anything. I love a thriller or mystery novel, but happy to give just about anything a try!

Hey all! Pretty new to reading again, working on stopping my doom scrolling but finding I'd like to discuss parts of books with people and I don't know anyone else who reads. My recent reads have been fantasy (Pretty much anything at this point) or non-fiction (Love learning about the war, dinosaurs, space - anything). Hoping I can pick a book that 1 or a few others are reading at the same time we can discuss and chat about.

I work at the University of Lincoln as Research Associate. I do research and writing on topics relating to sociology and psychology. I want to build a community of people who are interested in understanding human behaviour towards creating a more empathetic and peaceful world. Non-fiction academic reading is part of my day job, but I also read non-fiction outside of work. I want to read readings (e.g. single chapters or other short pieces) with people that challenges our culture of violence and educates for peace! As Malala Yousafzai aptly noted, "If you want to end the war then instead of sending guns, send books.”

I love books, always have and can't imagine life without them. Now retired, finding life lonely and looking to meet others who enjoy books either on line or face to face. Can host small meetings if desired. Hoping to find a club to join.

Hi, I'm in my mid 30's and I have an interest in lots of genres but to note some, Fantasy, Science Fiction and Horror, I also like the odd Romance story as it fits into lots of genres in itself. Manga, Anime, Movies and Books or even Games. I'm looking for social interaction to broaden horizons and also speak to likeminded individuals.
