Ben

Hey all! Pretty new to reading again, working on stopping my doom scrolling but finding I'd like to discuss parts of books with people and I don't know anyone else who reads. My recent reads have been fantasy (Pretty much anything at this point) or non-fiction (Love learning about the war, dinosaurs, space - anything). Hoping I can pick a book that 1 or a few others are reading at the same time we can discuss and chat about.

Robert

I work at the University of Lincoln as Research Associate. I do research and writing on topics relating to sociology and psychology. I want to build a community of people who are interested in understanding human behaviour towards creating a more empathetic and peaceful world. Non-fiction academic reading is part of my day job, but I also read non-fiction outside of work. I want to read readings (e.g. single chapters or other short pieces) with people that challenges our culture of violence and educates for peace! As Malala Yousafzai aptly noted, "If you want to end the war then instead of sending guns, send books.”

I love books, always have and can't imagine life without them. Now retired, finding life lonely and looking to meet others who enjoy books either on line or face to face. Can host small meetings if desired. Hoping to find a club to join.

Hi, I'm in my mid 30's and I have an interest in lots of genres but to note some, Fantasy, Science Fiction and Horror, I also like the odd Romance story as it fits into lots of genres in itself. Manga, Anime, Movies and Books or even Games. I'm looking for social interaction to broaden horizons and also speak to likeminded individuals.
