Hello, I’m 24 and a recent graduate! I want to join a book group so I can expand my reading choices, and also discuss what I’ve read so far! Started reading the ASOIAF series recently, and am veering into reading sci-fi/fantasy books at the moment.

From heart-pounding thrillers (I’m a big fan of Freida McFadden’s twisty suspense) and the immersive fantasy of the A Court of Thorns and Roses series to reflective self-help reads like Tuesdays with Morrie, I’m drawn to books that challenge, inspire, and transport me. I studied psychology at university, which probably explains why I’m fascinated by characters with complex minds and stories that dig deep into the human experience. I would love to connect with others who love a good read and even better conversation.

Hey! I'm busy Mom with a full time job, working from home. I've ALWAYS loved reading, but as adult life progressed I've struggled to have time to read. Im back into it and generally know if a book will hold my attention within the first chapter. I used to read a lot of real life stories (war time, Auschwitz etc) and children who had a difficult start to life. I have however found that my genre is now leaning more towards romance. I've recently read Paige Toon 'what if I never get over you' and completed it in approx 3 evenings. I've since ordered 5 more of her books and am currently reading 'seven summers'. I'd really like to meet some people who love to read too and am open to any suggestions, happy for a face to face book group too.

Starts off at a casual pace but picks up towards the middle to right till the end which I liked allowing me to get into the book. I loved the mix of mystery, horror and comedy and there were some dark, violent parts which surprised me for a YALit book.

I love this book series it was one of the first fantasy books i got into when I was a teenager I love how thought out and detailed it is and how fully immersive you become in it. Theres so many great twists and turns that you would never expect.
