I've not read in decades, I don't seem to enjoy the things I've enjoyed for years, this has forced me to explore reading. I've picked up a controversial book, and I like to think I'm an impartial objective reader. I didn't like the book, but I'm continuing, and now feel really compelled to explain the hypocrisy, the truths in their story and general analysis of what I'm reading, I really need to offload what I've read. I would LOVE to discuss someone else's analysis of a book too! I think my theme is Non Fiction/Real life.

I enjoy classic and cult literature, and also some non fiction, especially the OUP very short introduction series, and self development books. Some of my favourite writers: Solzhenitsyn, Graham Greene, HGWells. At the moment I'm rereading Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami. I would love to meet other like minded people, and have a chat over a coffee.

I enjoy a wide variety of literature, at the moment I’m reading books by Cecelia Ahern. I think I’ve read all of her published books up to date! I also like to read non-fiction and am particularly interested in spiritual literature. I have read several thriller novels which I have enjoyed but I’m not really a fan of horror fiction books or fantasy fiction either. Although, I did read a little of the Harry Potter series (but I didn’t finish 🙃) I would love to meet with people who have a variety of literary interests. I feel that’s what makes a varied group. My other interests include jewellery making. Which I make using Gemstone Crystals, another interest of mine and I love animals. I volunteer at a local urban farm, although it’s a bit chilly at the moment!!
