I'm a student that recently started getting back into reading over that past year or so. I mostly enjoy reading classics and philosophical fiction (Hesse, Dostoyevsky, Sartre). Lately I've been trying to branch out more with Jane Eyre, Nineteen Eighty-Four and some others. I'd really like to meet other people to talk to about books and philosphy, and maybe even get some recommendations.

Demian is an incredibly reflective and inspiring book. There is a good deal of philosophy regarding the world and people, but the real treasure is its numerous introspective moments and narratives that, for me, sets it apart from other philosophical works I've read. Demian is less the story of a boy trying to understand the world, and more of a boy trying to understand himself.

Includes the a black Panther investigation, and the Bombing of the water pipeline by Welsh Nationslists, what’s it like being a Bobby. This book will outline what to expect.

I didn't like the book, but I'm continuing, and now feel really compelled to explain the hypocrisy, the truths in their story and general analysis of what I'm reading, I really need to offload what I've read. I would LOVE to discuss someone else's analysis of a book too! I think my theme is Non Fiction/Real life.

This book series (split into 7 parts, with only the first 4 currently translated to English) takes a unique twist on the classic Groundhog Day trope. The story follows a young woman named Tara who is stuck repeating the same November day on repeat. Perfect if you like books with a quiet but unique plot, that dig deep into the protagonist's emotions and thoughts when faced with an unusual situation. P.S. book 2 is my personal favourite, in which Tara travels around Europe, attempting to recreate the seasons by visiting different climates, while still stuck in the same November day.
