Katy
I’m Katy, 32 years old and love reading thriller/crime books, although I’m open to reading other books (currently reading The Midnight Library). My favourite author is Freida McFadden. I’d love to join a book club local to Ashford, happy to drive out to nearby towns and meet like minded people and be able to chat about books!

Hi! I’m 22F, I used to be an avid reader but as an adult I’ve abandoned this hobby a little. I’d love to meet and chat to others and make bookish friends! I’ve mainly read classics and translated works but now would love a gripping story of any genre to get me back into reading more :))

I have loved reading from a young age. I go through phases of devouring a book and then having a break before getting called back to a good read. I'm constantly distracted by pretty book covers so I don't dare wonder into Waterstones anymore. I also like finding a hidden treasure in a Charity shop. I currently read on Libby, a physical copy or I listen to audiobooks. Would love to join a Romantasy focused book group as that is what I read most of these days.

I LOVE reading but sometimes I need a push. Having studied literature avidly at school and then at universities I love discussing books and finding hidden themes or new perspectives of classics and well-loved reads that help me fall in love with it all over again. My favourite authors are Wilbur Smith and Garth Nix with Dracula being my go-to favourite book of all time. I would love to find a local book club in Ashford, or if anyone is interested, I used to run one at university so happy to start one up!
