Twists I never saw coming!

I recently finished this book and have picked up the second one. I know it has a lot of hype but I just loved it. Such fun, twisted and eerie story telling.

The only book I have reread in my adulthood! Perfect mix of romance, friendship and entertainment.

My first venture into fantasy and did not disappoint. Loved every moment of this book and will forever recommend it. Everyone needs a Xaden!

Imaginative escapism . Well written and intelligently constructed . Good value if you devour a story rapidly !

Thompsons fictionalised.autobiographical novel of his time working at a failing newspaper in Puerto Rico where its only safe to drink copious amounts of Rum is a hilarious story of paranoia, alienation and frustration.

This is a great entry point for the Courtney Series by Wilbur Smith and was the first book I read that made me fall in love with Wilbur Smith's detailed and imaginative writing. Set mainly in Africa you follow the journey of Centaine - a young woman left to survive in the wilderness of Africa after a freak shipping accident during the first world war.
