Martin

As a regular reader I am always keen to discuss books with like minded people.

The Girl with the Louding Voice by Abi Dare

It's a book about survival from slavery and abuse but is uplifted by humour and sheer humanity.

Mark

I'm a keen reader, who this year is making an effort to read more after a good few years where I barely read anything. I'm a kiwi/aussie who has been married to my English wife for 22 years (hence living in the UK!). I like books of all kinds, historical fiction or fantasy, or crime especially. Would love to meet local people to talk about books, or join a local book group.

Dot

I have to Beckenham in 2020 and love the town so much. I'm originally from Poland and spend 16 years in Ireland before I fell in love with an Englishman :) And the rest is the history. I got back to reading last year and wanted to meet more people locally to share the joy of reading.

Gripping story that will keep you on the edge of the seat. You might 'See Jane Die' but will not see some of the twist coming.

Sofia

I’ve always loved reading and my TBR list is very long; however, I’ve been going through a non-reading period for a few months now and I think joining a book club would help me get back into reading.

Very atmospheric & superbly written. The book is about people still living & working in London during the height of the Blitz in World War II.

Beth

I am an Australian who moved to the UK 10 years ago with my family. We moved to Beckenham a year ago and I am looking to immerse myself in the community. I enjoy getting lost in books and have been told by work colleagues about the pleasures of being in a book club, so I have decided the timing is right. Kindest Beth Anderson
