I would like to meet like minded people who enjoy reading quality books, for social contact and to swap ideas and appreciation. I read across the genres but am keen on crime fiction and history. I also try to keep up to date with current novels (I mean from 2000!). It would be good to read books that I might not normally consider reading. I am a retired Clinical Nurse Specialist in Occupational Health. I have professional qualifications in teaching, nursing and community health and also have a degree in English.

Hi I'm 44, I know it states 50+ but would love to join a book club and I can't find any until now. I have recently began reading again and want to expand my genres and explore new books and meet new people. Never done anything like this so a complete beginner.
