I'm 67, retired and looking for fellow readers to meet to talk about books, to discuss literature in general. I have spent much of my life reading technical stuff and want to broaden my scope to pretty much any area of fiction writing. I live in Hertford and as I'm retired can make just about any time and day.

I like queer, classic and fantasy fiction but I'm open to most genres. Hoping to broaden my tastes and socialise with other book lovers along the way

I am in my 50's and looking to join a book club in the Hertford/WGC area. I enjoy most genres - Romance/Thriller etc with the exception of really historical books. It would be lovely to meet others and discuss books.

I’ve lived in Hertford now a couple of years and really would love to join a book club to have discussions and thoughts on a book that others are also reading. I like all genres but probably keep away from historical reads. I read everything from autobiographies to easy readers. Would love to join the club when you’re starting a new book. Thank you Emma

Hi, l retired a couple of years ago, and sometimes feel a bit cut off. I have always loved reading although my choices have changed quite a bit. I now find l enjoy murder, mystery and detective books far more than the romance stories l read previously.

I’m a woman pensioner who has recently moved to Hertford. I enjoy reading very much and am happy to read a wide variety of books. I belonged to a book club in London but would now like to join a club in Hertford. I believe that you meet in the Old Barge on Folly island.
