DeeDee63 (Brixham)
Former English graduate who got put off reading for years as a result! Now a reborn avid reader. I especially love books in translation: Japanese novels are a favourite.

Katie (Torquay)
I read around one book a week and I'm trying to write my first novel, too. Would love to connect with others in the Torquay area over a mutual love of reading.

Dean (Torquay)
I love exploring different worlds whether that is historical fiction, future fantasy or a contemporary novel. Recent titles have included "Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow", "The skeleton key" and "Before your memory fades". Authors that I go back to are Ken Follet, Robert Harris and Ian McEwan. But I love to find new authors, such as my recommendation below.

kw123 (Okehampton)
I've just graduated from uni and am living back home and would love to join a reading group/book club. I'm an avid reader and enjoy a wide range of genres. I love hard hitting novels based on history and books that explore and critique society.

Tor (Paignton)
I find myself in Devon for a month or two and looking to join a book club of sorts, mainly as a way to meet other people and chat about books, life, etc. I'm not very familiar with the area and not yet found any groups or regular meet ups for strangers like me! Get in touch if you can point me in the right direction : )

Mandy (Paignton)
I am a local single lady who still works part-time. I have enjoyed two book groups over many years but unfortunately they no longer meet. I like both fact and fiction books so I'm frequently at the library or visiting charity shops or trying to understand some of the articles in The New Scientist magazines. I love interesting facts and discussing these. I'd also really like to hear and learn from other readers' experiences.
