I'm pretty laid-back and happy to meet up as little or as often as suits. The number of pages in this book can seem quite overwhelming at the start, and with it being a Stephen King novel, there is a perception that it’s going to be a thriller, but it really isn’t. It’s such an addictive read, and the fact that it had so many pages actually made me sink into the story even more. I loved the vintage feel of it and all the characters. It’s one of those books that completely draws you in and makes you feel immersed in the world.

I love exploring different worlds whether that is historical fiction, future fantasy or a contemporary novel. Recent titles have included "Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow", "The skeleton key" and "Before your memory fades". Authors that I go back to are Ken Follet, Robert Harris and Ian McEwan. But I love to find new authors, such as my recommendation below.
