I am 25F, from Lincoln. I love reading books. I love talking about books. But I want to immerse in the "art" of storytelling, plays, theatre and perhaps meet someone along the way who might be interested in similar things. The last book I read was "The Vegetarian" and that opened a whole can of worms for me to explore society in South Korea. I am like that, I love to go deep into a subject and explore and talk about it. I am a slow reader (working on it) and I am here trying to find a book friend whom I can meet with for a coffee or a glass of wine- go to waterstones- sit somewhere and read a book together...

My name is Colin Jeffery Smith and I was born in Torquay in 1953. I was educated at Audley park Secondary Modern school. I spent 26 years in the Royal Air Force. I live in Grantham. I have been an avid reader since I was allowed to join a library at 12. I especially like historical and intelligence novels as well as military subject non fiction and reference books. Novelists include John Le carre, Frederick Forsyth, Mick Herron, Mark Dawson, Lee Child. Marion Zimmer Bradley Rosemary Sutcliff among others. I I may, I would like to introduce a novel I have written, It is a trilogy, of which, book one has already been published. It is called The Orphan Country and can be found on my website - colinjsmithauthor.com It was published last August and I am attempting to spread the word.
