Looking at early retirement soon and will finally have time to get stuck into reading which has been difficult to do over the years due to work. Would be great to join a local ish group and meet up for coffee and a chat. I like crime thrillers but will read anything really.

Kate (Boston)

I am a book junkie, my favourite genres are phycology, biology, fiction based in true historical events, a bit of fantasy, as long as the book is interesting I will read or listen to it. I am very passionate about reading to children, my 3 year old is spoiled every week with a trip to a local library!

Kate recommends:

The Four Winds
by Kristin Hannah | Learn more and buy
It's a heart clenching story about love, bravery, but also about our greed, ignorance and towards each other. It taught me a lot about the great depression in America, a topic that I never thought of before.

David Hodson (Louth)

After a few years of thinking about doing it I have finally written my first book, saint or sinner (ISBN number 978-1-80016-661-5), which will be published later this month by Pegasus and to say I am exited would be akin to saying that Hitler was a bit of a lad!! As a new and as yet totally unheard of author I wanted to put myself out there starting with people like you and me, the book reading public. I enjoyed the process so much that I have already completed a further book which in my humble opinion is better than Saint or sinner but that is for another day! My love of reading came from my mother who would take out and read around a dozen library books a week, looking back I suppose she must have been some sort of a speed reader to get through that as well as the daily mail and the Grimsby evening telegraph each day as well. Anyway enough of this waffle lets just say that I love writing as much as I enjoy reading and as such I am keen to meet with you. Best regards Dave
