Antisocial Book Club- Silent Reading Group: Altrincham
Bring your own book, e-reader, magazine, newspaper etc. All genres and reading formats are welcome. Order food or drink and settle down for an hour of silent reading. At the end of the hour, you can choose to stay and socialise, or not. No pressure, no judgement. Silent reading groups are gatherings where individuals come together to read quietly, often in a designated space like a café, bar, library etc. Unlike traditional book clubs, there is no assigned reading material; participants bring their own books, magazines, or e-readers. The focus is on enjoying personal reading time while being surrounded by fellow readers, creating a peaceful atmosphere for literary enjoyment.

Crime and Nourishment is a book club and social dining group for fans of crime fiction. Every month we meet to socialise over a meal then chat about our chosen book. It is very informal, probably a little different to any book club you may have been to before...and thats the way we like it 😊 Do we make it up as we go along?...yes! Do we have a great time?...yes!
