I love reading! my favourite genres include fantasy, romantasy, and romance but I'm totally open to reading other genres - I have been known to enjoy thrillers and crime thrillers. I'm looking for my next few reads that I'll actually enjoy - currently getting my next reads from Goodreads and booktok

ev_palmer04 recommends:

Fourth Wing
by Rebecca Yarros | Buy this book
The romance is secondary! and the plot is really enjoyable and I really loved the main character. Also before Fourth Wing I'd never enjoyed books or stories that involved dragons but Yarros does it such a good way that I started to miss reading about the dragon characters in other books.
A Good Girl's Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson

It took me so long to read this book because of the EPQ sections but I found myself starting to prefer those sections towards the end of the book. I love Pip and Ravi; and the mystery element in this book is incredible

I have recently moved back to the area after living abroad and would love to meet new people and connect over books and coffee (or wine!) 52 years old and work from home so it would be lovely to connect with new people who love reading and books! I like most genres, mostly thrillers, fiction, family drama, romance and historical fiction.

I used to read a lot but have got out of the habit over the past few years! Am hoping that a book club would encourage me to read more, and also explore new authors and genres.
