I like quite a varied list of genres from romance, action, fantasy, futuristic / space. Not sure I’m a classics type of person because the old English language I find really difficult to read and understand. Mainly I want to get out more and interact with people and I enjoy books so I thought this could be a good fit. Never done it before so nervous and shy.

It takes a little while to get into the first book of any series, but once you get used to the character names and their personalities you fall in love with the book and can’t put it down. I love the escapism with this book. It’s quirky and interesting and believable in a very fantasy kind of way. The detailed descriptions are great but not over done so it’s easy to read and focus on the story. I definitely got emotionally invested reading this series of books.

I’ve never been to a book club before, so a little nervous . I enjoy reading thrillers and romance novels but open to trying different genres. The most recent book I enjoyed reading was “The housemaid” by Freida McFadden.
