Hi, I moved to Orpington in 2022 and I’d like to join a book club that meets nearby. I’m 42 and have always loved reading since I was a child. I read a wide range of books from many genres, but I suppose my favourites are historical fiction and fantasy. I also enjoy reading about history and listen to a lot of history podcasts.

The Testaments
Unpopular opinion but I preferred this book to the first - obviously you do need to have read The Handmaid’s Tale for The Testaments to make sense, and even better if you’ve seen the TV series after the first book, as an in-between filling.
