The form of story-telling is engrossing - we follow the main character through a life-changing event that is reflected not only in his experiences, but also the author's style of writing.

Beautiful plot, and very educative. The characters and events envoked such strong feelings for me, and although it is a (very) long read - I completed it in 3 sittings, it's absolutely riveting.

I loved the world building and characters in this book and the rest of the series!

It doesn't get much cosier than this, and it's one of my favourite genres- people solving murders who have no business solving murders. It's cosy, funny and heartwarming, and involves senior citizens and dragons solving mysteries!

I love this book its such a unique look at masculinity and guilt and redemption. It's about a killer who's served 27 and how he rebuilds his life on the outside its harshly beautiful and I challenge any one not to fall in love with the main characters.

This book is like a warm hug when you just want to immerse yourself into another world. I liked the written and the split perspective of the same situations.
