Hi, I live in Dibden Purlieu on the edge of the New Forest. I’ve recently retired from working in positions with extensive travel. I haven’t been home long enough to meet people with similar interests. I have always loved reading and now I have the time to read more fiction. Particularly love thrillers, whodunnits, etc. Anything that gets the brain going with twists and turns. I’m happy to travel throughout the New Forest. Puts into words and onto paper the common, but isolating, experience of unrequited love. I think everyone can recognise pieces of themselves in this book

I love reading, mostly books that I feel I can relate to, I.e life as an adult in your late 20s, romance, life choices etc. I love Laura Jane Williams and Dolly Alderton books but I’m open to other authors too! I know I stated I love fantasy, but this is my favourite book. The symbolism and Gatsby's ability to dream and hold onto it until the very end was beautiful, and I loved how the book made me fall in love with characters only to have my heart broken.
