I've always loved reading and usually have several books on the go! I read a range of genres although am currently partial to crime/thrillers and dystopian stories. Have a few go-to authors where I'll read anything they publish but am always finding more to add to the list! I don't tend to reread books and will DNF if I'm not enjoying something - life's too short and there are still too many books I want to read! I prefer physical books as I get too distracted if I read on a screen. In my past life I was a school librarian & I've belonged to various book groups over the years but I'm now missing the lovely book chat!

Fleet Book Group (Fleet)
A safe and cosy space for bookish nerds. We meet up at a pub in Fleet on a Tuesday once a month to discuss the last book, and two weeks later for a general book chat, all over a pint, a glass of wine or a good coffee of course!
