Claire (Horsham)

I have always loved reading but have recently renewed my passion. I am a busy mum (to a teenager and toddlers!) in my late 30s. I love to use any free time I get to escape into a good book. I really enjoy a good psychological thriller. But my particular love is a thought provoking and emotional read (one of my favourites is A Little Life, Hanya Yanagihara). Would love recommendations and discussions.

elli (Horsham)

I love reading, and have always wanted to join a book club. After much research I haven’t been able to find much in my area, and would love to join up with others who also love reading to create some sort of regular book club! I’d love to make more friends who love reading and who I can share book recommendations with :)

elli recommends:

This is the only book I’ve ever read that genuinely made me feel scared! True stephen king fan!

Indiebookie (Crawley)

I’m open minded and always looking for ways to see and enjoy the light in the world, connecting with others and having a laugh. Would love to meet both like-minded and different people to share and enjoy both light and insightful conversations

Katie (Arundel)

I love reading romance books mostly and a bit of fantasy/romantasy. Looking to make new bookish friends around my age (late 20’s/30’s) to chat books with and maybe meet up and form a book club.

Katie recommends:

Promise Me Sunshine by Cara Bastone

My favourite book that I’ve read so far this year! It deals with loss, grief and having to move forward in such a funny, messy, chaotic and relatable way. Perfection.
