I have always been a lover of books, ever since I was a kid at school. My favourites used to be romantic novels especially by Denise Robins. However now that I am retired, I tend to read more thrillers and crime stories. I also like to meet other like-minded readers as I am also a sociable person and want to make new friends.

It was a page turner and just gripping.Definitely kept me going through thr night. Story was extremely interesting and wanting me to know more. There was a twist at the end which added to my enjoyment.

I've always read books on and off throughout my life and can be a slow reader especially if I can't get into the book. I started with the "classics", then went to crime and thriller and have recently found my way to romantasy, which might be my favourite so far. I'd like to meet like minded people who I can chat to about the books I'm loving and get recommendations for further reading.

I find that all I do with my time is work and see friends but it’s all very repetitive and I feel like I don’t have any actual real hobbies, I’ve always enjoyed reading but don’t really have the motivation to actually do so, and feel like mixing with a new group of people with a topic to talk about could be fun and interesting
