I am a published author with books published in the usa and although I write almost daily I feel I would not only like to get my publications widely known, I would like to meet locals who are struggling or need help in their pursuit of publication. I mostly write historical fiction and fictional crime. I hasten to add I am hoping to join a bookclub at the Southend Forum Library which meets on the first thursday aft of every month and is run by SWAN Southend Writers and Artists which is on facebook. Well to be blunt yes its one of my own publications ie Canadian Historical Fiction and although a true story I have used fictional characters throughout. This is the story of the halifax explosion in 1917 in which almost 2,000 lives were taken when two ammunition ships collided in the harbour of Halifax Nova Scotia , the date was 6th DEC at 9am 1917 a date etched in the minds of many Canadians.
