Book clubs in Romford

I wrote this saga of a young person leaving his village in Scotland and accidentally stumbling into the unfamiliar morality of gangland, military contractors & intelligence agencies. For a change, the strong female characters in this story aren't the victims. Instead, they're the driving force behind all of the realistic scenes, dialogue and criminal misadventures.

Despite it's controversial subject matter, Lolita is one of the most compelling, complex and most beautifully written books I've ever read. The writing prose, along with the unique examination of its characters, makes this book an absolute masterpiece.

One of my favourite fantasy books of all time, and so far my favourite book in the incredible Malazan series, the Bonehunters contains pay off after pay off as to its incredible storytelling throughout the series, features some of the most expansive and most unforgettable set pieces in the series, and two notable endings for the price of one.

An incredible conclusion to an amazing series, this 14th and final book to the immersive Wheel of Time series delivers a grandiose and heart-wrenching ending filled with epic action, memorable character moments, and one of the best endings to series in recent memory. An absolute knockout of a book.
