Anna

I’m in my early 20s and am keen to meet likeminded people my age. I love reading but never give myself the time- I’d like to join a book group to hold me accountable! I enjoy reading a range of genres- fiction and non-fiction- and would enjoy being introduced to something different!

Ellie1066

I'm in my early 20's and not into the usual scene for my age group, so wanted to try and branch out in other ways. I like both fiction and non-fiction reading, with a special love of dystopian and history books.

Witch & Wizard (series)
by James Patterson | Buy this book
This was my favourite book series growing up, and I've read it countless times. My first copy is close to falling apart. I love how silly it is, the world building and the way the story is told from different POV's.

Matt

Hello, my name is Matt, in my early 40s, I have recently moved to near Manningtree where I dont know many people and I am trying to experience new things in this all too short life. Looking to reinvigorate my old love of reading which has sadly taken a back seat in recent years to looking at my phone/the Internet. I like to read anything really from non fiction books about historical events such as wars etc to good fiction to autobiographies or anything really. Be great to meet a like minded person who would like to connect (whether in person or online) and discuss books/reading recommendations etc.

Matt recommends:

A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole

I do read a lot of books, listen to audiobooks when I can’t physically sit and read.As I do not have anyone to discuss the books feel i thought a group would be a very helpful. It will keep some of my time occupied with things I am passionate about.
