JKDM (Ilford)

Hi, I’m Jessica! I’ve recently become a bit book-obsessed šŸ˜… and I’m really enjoying getting back into reading. I tend to love romance books, especially ones with strong characters, a bit of drama, or emotional storylines. I also enjoy cosy, feel-good reads like cafĆ©-style books when I want something more relaxing. I’m looking to join a book group to interact with like-minded people, share recommendations, and discover new books I wouldn’t usually pick myself. I’d love a relaxed, friendly group where we can chat about books and just enjoy reading together.

JKDM recommends:

Filthy Rich Vampire by Geneva Lee

It’s really addictive and easy to get into, with a strong, powerful male lead and a lot of tension and chemistry. The story mixes romance with a darker, supernatural vampire world, which makes it feel exciting but still very easy to read. It’s one of those books that keeps you hooked and wanting to know what happens next.

The way the story is written and how it takes you on a journey is incredible. You will be rooting for the main characters along the way.

Tracy (Basildon)

I hope that you are all keeping well. I am just posting this to say that i have read through several of your comments and I can see that there are many of us who would like to join a Basildon Book group. Therefore, I will pop into Basildon library to enquire about setting one up. If they agree, I will post the details on here as well as seeing about putting a poster up in the library to advertise. Looking forward to seeing if we can get one set up Kind regards Tracy D
