Hi, my name is Maureen and I would like to join a book club as reading is something I do a lot. I would love to meet other like minded ladies to make new friends and discuss the latest book in a fun way over a cup of tea or any other drink. Any time of the day would be great.

I’m 20 years old and love to read romance and a little fantasy. No one around me really reads so dying to be able to share my thoughts with someone who has the same passion for reading as me ☺️

I'm in my early 20's and not into the usual scene for my age group, so wanted to try and branch out in other ways. I like both fiction and non-fiction reading, with a special love of dystopian and history books.

Sue (Basildon)
I love reading fiction but everyone around me only reads self help, I feel when I’m finished a good read I’m itching to share my thoughts and passion about it and don’t have anyone who’s as interested. I enjoy reading gripping fiction novels, mainly thrillers and plot twists. Will read romance and fantasy but a bit more picky with these genres.

I’m a recently retired 71 year old female. I’ve always loved reading. I like most genres apart from the Mills and Boon style books. I often struggle to find a new good book after I’ve finished reading the current one so I though a book club would keep me well stocked and able to discuss the books I’ve read with like minded people.

I find that all I do with my time is work and see friends but it’s all very repetitive and I feel like I don’t have any actual real hobbies, I’ve always enjoyed reading but don’t really have the motivation to actually do so, and feel like mixing with a new group of people with a topic to talk about could be fun and interesting
