Annie P

I am over 50, love reading and would like to join a book club nearby. It would be good to combine this with an odd wine or two and not too serious!

Annie P recommends:

Life of Pi
by Yann Martell | Buy this book
It evoked discussion about religion, identity, family loyalty. It combined this with fantasy and was very well written. Easily understood but could be interpreted in different ways.

I love stories where it is ambiguous whether there is a supernatural entity or whether people are juat going mad, and this is the absolute best of them!
