Jenny

I’ve always loved reading and currently love getting myself lost in fantasy/romantasy series e.g. ACOTAR, Fourth Wing, Spark of the Everflame. Would love to be able to discuss with people! Another big part of me which takes up most of my time is being a working mum.

The complex man that Harry is. Full of contradictions, but really a man who knows right from wrong

I love reading and socialising, and would like to join a book club to combine the two. I'm in my 50's and enjoy a variety of genres, particularly fantasy and Sci-fi. I look forward to meeting like-minded new book friends!

Martina

I love romantasy books. I've always loved fantasy books, since I was young but there was a period of my life during which I had forgotten just how much I love it. I've recently been back to it, having very quickly read Fourth Wing, ACOTAR, ToG, between others. I'm a working mum and would like to find a group to meet on a monthly basis :)

I loved the enemy to lovers, the fantasy of this book, the world building. I was so immersed reading it that it felt like waking up from a dream when I finished.

Leah

Hi! I'm Leah. I have always been an avid reader, some of my favourite genres are fantasy (like ASoIaF and LotR) and history books whether fictional retellings or non fiction. I'm not fussy on genre though, as long as it keeps me interested. I would love to discuss anything with those with similar interests.

I've always been a reader - anything that's well written. Have been re-reading Slow Horses lately, not just because of the TV adaptation, but also because Mick Herron is such a gifted writer. His books make me laugh out loud. I love to talk about good books I've read and to get ideas from others as to what to read next. My partner is heavily into fantasy fiction but I can't seem to get my head round that particular genre but I'm willing to be encouraged in any direction. I'm now retired. Do the usual stuff - walking a fair bit, enjoy cinema, and am a sucker for a good glass of red with any kind of cheese. Would love to meet some more people in the area, not just to talk books but can't think of a better way to get to know others.
