Ailsa (Southampton)

I read most genres I’m just not a big fan of history or self-help/essay based books. My most recent reads were the Harry Potter series and The Help, both I enjoyed immensely.

This is a great short story, focusing on one man’s stay in hell. It kept me interested throughout and I finished it in one sitting.

The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides
The Silent Patient
by Alex Michaelides | Buy this book
An intriguing, fascinating book that kept you in suspense until the very end. A book that can help you regain your love for reading, love for complex and complicated characters, for puzzles that unravel slowly before your eyes, but dynamically enough for the reader not to lose attention. I discovered the author since this book and I want to say that psychological thrillers are really something sensational!

Arguably the most realistic thriller ever written, page turner with real characters with human flaws and failings. The opposite of the Bourne trilogy or James Bond

Literature Nut (Whitchurch (Hampshire))

I read every chance i get. I love post modern and contemporary literature. I also read victorian novels, historical fiction and psychology books, old and new. My favourite books are written by women about women. Popular fiction is not my thing at all. I am looking to find a group who is passionate about good literature, who loves talking about what makes a good writer and who loves to connect with and find meaning in fiction.

Suj (Aldershot)

I used to be a voracious reader but I've fallen out of the habit since I started working after university. I'm looking for some extrinsic motivation to explore some new reads! I've only really read the classics but I'm very open minded to read some different genres :).
