Jenni (Rayleigh)
I used to be an avid reader but seem to have lost the habit. I want to get out more, meet more people and re-ignite my love for books at the same time.

Jacklyn (Hornchurch)
50 year old professional working in London. I studied English literature for my degree and it's where my love for reading stems from. I love the classics, but I read everything from thrillers to bestsellers and translations. The best bit about reading a new book is discussing it with others; and that's something I'm missing at the moment. Would love to join a local book club and discuss books.

Hello - hope you are well. I like reading but I always struggle to find new or interesting books to read. I’m hoping to find like minded people who can recommend good reads. I like reading sci-fi, fantasy books, crime - thrillers anything good really. I’m quite sociable and would enjoy meeting up.

Lorraine (Basildon)
I am.looking to expand my social circle. I used to be an avid reader and have a love for words. I used to read multiple books and am hoping that a book club will help kick start that love all over again. I'd love to.meet up in a coffee shop, open to most genres. Find military, science fiction.and fantasy harder to get into

I love reading, as it makes you use your mind. At the moment, I'm reading Reaper Man (Pratchett. The only author who can make me laugh out loud!), Mother Tongue (Bryson), An Astronauts View of Earth (Hadfield), The Otterbury Incident (C. Day Lewis. Yes, it's a kids book, but I still love it), The Life Changing Magic of Not Giving A F++k (Knight), Black Spirits &White (Adams Cram), Bukowski (Bukowski!), Nothing To Envy (Demick), The Experiments (Todd), The Body (Bryson. Such an interesting book), and I've just started, Not The End Of The World (Ritchie). I've been thinking of joining a book club for ages, so here goes.
