Geoff (Loughton)

I'm a former national newspaper journalist and I did an English literature degree many years ago. Now I'm (semi-)retired I have more time for books. I have just published my first novel (Let Sleeping Secrets Lie). It is the first of a trilogy and I have finished the other two. I would like to be in touch with others in a similar position and with similar interests.

Sunflower_F (Witham (Essex))

Hello! I have not that long got into reading when I was younger I loved books then life happened and now I’ve rekindled (pardon the pun) that interest. I have to admit I have more books in the bookshelf than what I have read but there’s something about getting new books which makes me feel so good 😁 I buy all of my books from charity shops, bootsales or on Kindle Unlimited (but being a mummy too I have to find time in between to read them). However joining book clubs I think motivates me and then I have the choice as to which book I’ll read that month from whatever club I choose! Exciting! I am on the hunt for some books as my “looking for/want” list is slowly getting smaller but I refuse to buy books new as they’re too much money in my opinion if I can find them for 50p or £1 then that’s a win win in my eyes ☺️ Happy Reading all! 📖 📚

Sassi (Dunmow)

I love reading all types of books but recently into thrillers and things with big twists that keep you guessing. I read quite a lot of non-fiction especially things on neuroscience, habits and psychology generally. I’d love to find a book group and find new books and friends.
