Roses_97 (Maidstone)

I’m Jess, 28yo and new to the Ditton/Aylesford area. I am looking to join a book club as I have loved reading since I was a child. Starting from Harry Potter and Narnia, up until more recently with Fourth Wing and Crescent City. I absolutely LOVE fantasy genres, but also enjoy a Frieda McFadden thriller book too! It would be great to join a club who shares my passion and meet new people in the area

The world building and twists throughout the book. It does start out slow but worth it.

Jayne (Ashford (Kent))

I am 69 yrs, recently moved back to Kent, I have always loved reading, go through stages of reading for a period of time, then stop, then pick up again, I am finding recently I pick books that sound interesting but once I start reading they aren’t so much anymore, I have also picked books that are ‘easy reading’ but I think my tastes is changing, I would like to know from other readers books they find interesting and can recommend, I am open to giving any type of book a try!

Billie (Rochester)

I am a 34 year old woman who loves to read. I like a good mix of genres that include romance, fantasy and thriller—especially if it comes with a really good twist. Give me magic, spooky vibes, chaotic characters, or a surprise ending, and I’m happy. I would love to join a book club, to chat about shocking moments, debate favorite characters, and discover new stories that keep us all flipping pages way too late at night! If there are any book clubs in the Medway town area, then please let me know. Thanks x

ReadingPerson (Canterbury)

Hi. I'm 17f and I'm looking for people around my age and I like mystery/fantasy/action/romance books. Nothing super sad and whilst I do like a Romantasy, I'm not a fan of ticktock/smutty books and I love action books with great friendships. I loved 'The night circus' and 'Good Omens' and 'The Witcher' and 'Anne of Green Gables' (my childhood!) to give an overview of my general style.

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue
by V. E. Schwab | Buy this book
It's a great fantasy book, not my usual style but has become my favorite book. I enjoyed the writing itself that makes you feel like you're part of the story. The story itself is very interesting and explores a lot of interesting themes.

Fascinating insight into the decline of the West as it becomes of historic interest to the rest of the world. A great novel about art, Venice, love and crime. It’s all there!

BookishBonacci (Maidstone)

Hi there, I am Victoria, 34 years old living in Aylesford Kent. Married, no children yet, full time job. Reading is my passion, its my escape and its my favourite thing to do. As a 90s kid, it started with Harry Potter, lord of the rings and has turned into a love for pretty much anything. My first love would be Fantasy/ Romanacy (Throne of glass will always be my ride or die) but i do like thrillers and i do want to dive into crime and horror. Nothing is off the table. I enjoy reaching out to indie authors also. I would like to connect and make some friends, its hard to make friends when your older and they say to get friends you need a hobby and outside of the gym and work, reading is all i do. So here i am!
