I am an introverted extrovert! Meaning I am quiet and more of a listener than a talker but I love going out and being a part of a group

I am 26yo woman and have just moved to Edenbridge and I’m looking to make some friends, particularly friends who enjoy reading as much as I do! I’m happy to meet fortnightly, preferably a Tuesday evening or a weekend morning. My favourite book genre is romance, especially fantasy romance!

I would like to join a book club as it offers the opportunity to connect with like-minded people and build a sense of community around a shared love of reading. It’s inspiring to hear others’ perspectives and enthusiasm, which motivates me to explore new books and ideas.

Maidstone Book Club (Maidstone)
6 of us so far! We meet up over coffee or a glass of wine (once a month) swap book recommendations, decide next months book, and discuss this months book. Mostly chatting about our lives, families and what's been going on. Really nice group of people with different age ranges, life situations and hobbies. We all get on really well and laugh a lot. We read crime, thriller, fantasy, and romance, however all are welcome! We don't just sit in our categories, we branch out and give other stuff a go.

I love people books such as Finding Henry Applebee and The People on Platform 5. I read a lot of murder mystery, psychological thriller types- Michael Connelly etc. I do read a lot and get my books on line and tend to go with what’s available cheaply otherwise I would be bankrupt 😁. It would be nice to chat about books I’ve read, maybe meet up over a coffee, get recommendations. I’ve never been involved in a reading club before and I’m curious
