I love reading and am never without a book or two on the go! Am looking to join a relaxed and friendly local book club to build like-minded friendship as well as share a love of literature. I love all sorts and am always open minded to trying new genres!

Pau98 (Rochester)

Hi all! I love reading but struggle to find the time ti read lately. One of my fave things about literature is how it can bring people together and prompt discussions, so I think a book club could be a great idea to get back into reading often. Thanks!

It’s a great crime/thriller book. The plot twist and turns which helps for an engaging read. The writing is descriptive and allows you to engage with the characters.

Christine (Canterbury)

I love books! Fiction, Biographies, Mysteries, and Histories but I'm open to different genres. I have lived in several countries and so am open to all authors. I've lived in the UK for five years now and it's time to get my nose out of a book and enjoy the lovely benefits of a book club.

Lotty, 36 (Maidstone)

Saw an advert for a book club on social media, and thought to myself why haven’t I looked to see if there’s any book clubs in Maidstone before now! Have recently discovered Martina Cole, enjoy Victoria Hislop, enjoy a sarcastic sense of humour. Open to most genres but not a fan of fantasy / sci-fi

Hi, I'm Katie, 20, female. I love reading romance (especially sports romance), a lot of dark romance, a sprinkle of fantasy here and there, and self-development books. I'd love to meet new people who share these interests, and to discuss, read and review new books.

Jo (Gillingham (Kent))

Looking for a social book club. I love most genres of fiction. Particularly crime and fantasy. Be great to meet some new people and get a regular fixture into the diary. Three kids now growing up, so I thought it’s a good time to start.

Short and thought provoking in a world where "things and thoughts" can overtake you, it is important to make them count..

A series of stories about womens' lives, separate but interlinked, which come together in the final chapter. Beautifully written and very satisfying.

Bibliophile (Tunbridge Wells)

I will be looking after my baby granddaughter in Tunbridge Wells for three days a week January-May and would like to meet people while I am there rather than just sitting around doing nothing in the evenings. I am a member of a lively book group in Richmond, where I live for the rest of the week, and would like to find something similar in TW.
