I've recently retired & am renewing my love of reading. I don't know many people locally & hope a book club might be a good way to meet people.

Phoebe.E (Canterbury)

I am starting to get back into reading. I have dyslexia so have always struggled with reading but as I have gotten older I have got a lot better at it. I really enjoy Sci-Fi, Fantesy and Urben Fantasy. I am really interested in connecting with people who have a similar taste in Genres. I am 26. The town I live in isn't an option on here so I will just put the one closes

GreenWerewolf (Ashford (Kent))

I have loved reading from a young age. I go through phases of devouring a book and then having a break before getting called back to a good read. I'm constantly distracted by pretty book covers so I don't dare wonder into Waterstones anymore. I also like finding a hidden treasure in a Charity shop. I currently read on Libby, a physical copy or I listen to audiobooks. Would love to join a Romantasy focused book group as that is what I read most of these days.

I recently finished this book and have picked up the second one. I know it has a lot of hype but I just loved it. Such fun, twisted and eerie story telling.

I read this book recently and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since, the whole series in fact. I love the world and the characters and it’s a perfect blend of fantasy and romance for me.

Betty (Sittingbourne)

I’d love to join a book club because reading has always been a personal passion of mine, especially horror and crime novels. I enjoy the thrill of a gripping mystery, the tension of a well-crafted plot, and the satisfaction of uncovering twists and turns. Being part of a book club would give me the chance to share that excitement with others, discover new authors and titles I might not come across on my own, and push myself to read more regularly. It’s also a great way to connect with people who share a love for storytelling and suspense.
