Miah

Im 27 and an avid reader who mostly reads romance, fantasy and thrillers. Would love to connect with people who are passionate about books as much as I am.

Miah recommends:

House Of Salt And Sorrows by Erin A. Craig
House Of Salt And Sorrows
by Erin A. Craig | Buy this book
This book completely swept me away. From the very first chapters, I was drawn in by its eerie, gothic, and whimsical atmosphere , dark yet beautiful, like a gothic fairy tale. The pacing was smooth with no dull moments, and the mystery built gradually throughout the book kept me invested. And has a slow burn romance.

Hi there! Im 27 and looking to join a friendly bookclub with people around my age, give or take a few years. And near Addlestone and Weybridge. I mostly read romance, fantasy and thrillers but im open to other genres too. I’d love to find a group that’s easygoing, open to new members, and excited to explore books together.

Recently moved to Thorpe, enjoy books with a psychological edge or philosophical or moral intrigue, or a general good read! Keen to meet others.

Fascinating insight into how Christianity has shaped European culture and politics. Amazing detail, quite a long read - I’ve been at it for 5 months now

Lorraine

Hi, I’ve been interested in joining a local book club for a long time and now that my children are grown up I have more time on my hands. I read a variety of genres from non-fiction to fantasy, with plenty in between. I work full time from home, so I'm free to meet up in the evenings

Lorraine recommends:

Hamnet
by Maggie O’Farrell | Buy this book
This book is historic fiction and the author took care with the way real historic events and individuals were blended with fiction. I love history, I love a great story and I also love great writing. This book gave me all 3!

Reading is one of my biggest passions and I would love to meet some like-minded people to discuss books with. Reading is a huge part of my life as I’m Head of English at a local high school, but I enjoy reading all sorts of literature.
