Pixham Book Club

Meets at The Watermill Run by Sara Davison Library service For residents living in the community of Pixham, Surrey, this group was started as a result of my being selected as a 'giver' for World Book Night, 2011. The first book read was my World Book Night choice, Case Histories by Kate Atkinson. We meet on the first Tuesday of alternate months at Pixham's 'local', The Watermill. Bi-monthly meetings were selected to allow members plenty of time to read the books and not feel pressured - reading should be a pleasurable experience after all. Next meeting is October. Anyone wishing to join the October discussion should take time to read The Smoke Jumper by Nicholas Evans, our current book. Next one is The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas. We meet at: Dorking, Surrey
