I have been a member of book clubs through work for a few years but due to moving jobs and more recently the members gradually dropping out due to other commitments, I am looking to join or start a book club for science fiction and fantasy fans in my area as I think this genre is often overlooked or not as popular as other genres of books. A monthly book club would be ideal but open to other time frames as well.

Dune

by Frank Herbert | Buy this book

The first book to win both the Nebula and Hugo award. Opened up the genre to include more cerebral matters and influenced all science fiction since its release in the 60s. Fantastic story, brilliant world building, complex relationships and copious amounts of life extending drugs.

Mon dieu, I love reading these stories! The tension barely lifts thoughtout the nearly 700 pages! Kristoff can write thrillers, fantasy, action, erotica and horror better than anyone I have read! Longue vie ‘la demoiselle du graal!’
