I really enjoyed this book, I like the way it was written and found it to be a really interesting concept. Although, at times it was a tough read due to gore

I mostly read romance (often smutty...) and fantasy novels but I also enjoy crime thrillers. Dostoevsky illustrates the consequences of a moral compass founded on none religious ideals through the eyes of the protagonist Raskolnikov, who despite his almost incontrovertible damnation still finds forgiveness. Which I found quite profound
