It's set in a dystopian world and while a young adult completely fiction really makes you think twice about the world's racial injustices. Anyone can be there superior race...because what if? But the story itself is well written and the characters so loveable that even 15 years later, I still think back on them!

Daria (Ashtead)

Hi I am 52 years old Italian woman. I love reading, and when I was back in my country I usually met with a couple of friends and talking about books with have read. I am interested in any sort of book, in my young age I read all the classics, and south American, and Italian authors. Nowadays I like to expand my knowledge in all the fields. I would like to join a book club, and meet people with the same interest, and discover new books and new interesting things. I can easily read in English, so it is not a problem for me. Thanks

Ish (Woking)

I’m Ish, 27 years old, and I’m excited about the idea of joining a book club! I’ve always loved getting lost in a good story, especially thrillers and suspenseful novels that keep me on the edge of my seat. There’s nothing better than a plot twist you didn’t see coming! I’m joining a book club because I enjoy hearing different perspectives on books and diving deeper into stories through discussion. It’s also a great way to discover new authors and genres I might not have picked up on my own. Plus, I think sharing the joy (or shock) of a great thriller with others makes the reading experience even better. Looking forward to meeting like-minded book lovers and exchanging recommendations!

Ish recommends:

Verity by Colleen hoover
Verity
by Colleen hoover | Buy this book
Colleen Hoover’s Verity is an exceptional read because it masterfully blends psychological thriller elements with emotional depth, making it nearly impossible to put down. The story’s gripping plot twists and morally complex characters keep you questioning everyone’s motives until the very end. Hoover’s vivid storytelling pulls you into a world of secrets, manipulation, and suspense, making every chapter more intense than the last. If you love books that mess with your mind and leave you thinking about them long after, Verity is a must-read.
