Ekaterina (Farnham)

I always loved reading; it is my way of unwinding and expanding my imagination, however it can be a very solitary experience at times. I always felt the need to share that passion. I would like to find some likely minded people and hopefully build some good friendships in the future.

L-J (Godalming)

Recently started writing and reading for fun rather than work and would like to expand the range of books I’ve been reading to more contemporary authors but I’m not sure where to start and thought a book club might give me that insight.

I need some motivation to put some time aside and start reading books again. I'd also like the social side of discussing books.

Olivia_in_a_book (Croydon)

I really enjoy reading, but sometimes I find that life gets in the way and a couple of months have passed since I last picked up a book. It would be nice to find some people to talk books with and to suggest new things to read. I don't have a specific type of book that I enjoy - I'll read anything from classics, to sci-fi to biographies.

So Late in the Day by Claire Keegan
So Late in the Day

This is a short book, but packed with emotion. It's so clever how the story is slowly revealed as the book progresses - it's so subtly done but it seems almost inevitable when you get to the end, although that's never what you would have imagined at the beginning.
