Joey (Morden)

Would like to meet up monthly, possibly in day. Read virtually everything, though prefer fiction. 65 years old (66 this year) book club I belonged to is taking a break so thought I would try something different. I have a mobility problem, use a scooter so would need to be accesible venue/toilet facility.

Reverie (Egham)

Looking to join a book club to make friends with fellow book obsessed people! It would be great to meet up once a week or every two weeks to discuss something we agree to binge together! I'm 25 and am building a book fort :) My preferred genres are fantasy, sci-fi, and anything that gives you a feeling of existential dread.

Reverie recommends:

Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr
Wicked Lovely

Urban decay aesthetic + an actual realistic view of what fey courts would look like in a modern setting. Lets face it, centuries old fey and their politics are not going to be sunshine and rainbows. It gets dark and Melissa Marr is a phenomenal writer

I took this on my first solo holiday in years. Loved everything about it. So characterful and I like how the story unfolded. Who would have thought a book about penguins and annold, crabby lady, could be so entertaining!

The Relaxed Book Group (Croydon)

This is a group with a difference; everyone reads a book of their own choice it's about sharing our differences in discussing once every 2 weeks locally. It's aim is to motivate and help meet like minded people. We will have set questions to open up discussion on things such as storyline, characters and learning. Taking interest currently so please get InTouch meeting place TBC but should be every other Monday at 7pm to 9pm at a quiet Croydon pub. There is a disclaimer no horror stories or grotesque detailed books no dark spiritual books either such as witches or demons etc
