One of my favourite books filled with the most colourful and memorable characters. I love classics and want to revisit or discover new classics in English classical literature

This is a short book, but packed with emotion. It's so clever how the story is slowly revealed as the book progresses - it's so subtly done but it seems almost inevitable when you get to the end, although that's never what you would have imagined at the beginning.
